On October 22, the 2026 China (Guzhen) International Lighting Fair (Autumn) (hereinafter referred to as the "35th Guzhen Lighting Fair"), a four-day event, grandly opened at the Guzhen Convention and Exhibition Center in Zhongshan City, Guangdong Province—the Lighting Capital of Guzhen. Continuing the theme "Guzhen Lighting Illuminates the World," this year's fair highlights its positioning of "professionalism, market orientation, and internationalization" through a series of activities including exhibitions and displays, supporting events, and resource matching, striving to build a stronger international brand exhibition.
As of 12:00 noon on October 21, the main venue had nearly 50,000 registered attendees with real-name registration; overseas, more than 6,000 people from 126 countries and regions had registered, once again demonstrating the strong appeal of the Guzhen Lighting Fair as a bellwether for the global lighting and luminaire industry. On the opening day, the exhibition hall entrances saw a steady stream of visitors, with exhibitors and buyers from around the world visiting either on their own or in groups.
The seven exhibition halls at the main venue of this year's Guzhen Lighting Fair have been comprehensively upgraded, forming a new layout of "one hall, one theme; every hall with its own distinctive features." Hall A focuses on smart lighting and engineering lighting, Hall B brings together decorative luminaires and commercial lighting, Hall C covers outdoor lighting and cultural tourism lighting, Halls D and E connect mechanical equipment and auxiliary materials and accessories, Hall F integrates smart home and soft furnishings, and Hall H provides a one-stop channel for emerging brands and cross-border product selection. The fair focuses on three major industry trends—AI intelligent integration, health lighting, and green and low-carbon development—and showcases new achievements such as "light that moves with people" immersive lighting, age-friendly lighting, and photovoltaic energy storage applications.
During the fair, five major themed exchange sessions have been carefully planned, covering hot topics such as procurement and supply information exchange, smart lighting and green development innovation, lighting industry trend analysis, implementation of healthy lighting technology, and new media omni-channel customer acquisition and cross-border overseas expansion. Industry experts, scholars, and prominent figures have been invited to deliver keynote speeches and participate in thematic dialogues.
In terms of precise business matching, the organizer has formed nine major professional procurement delegations and extended targeted invitations to corporate executives to attend with their procurement plans. At the same time, the "Global Buyer Procurement Program" has been upgraded. The business matching area in Hall H will host five lighting online business matching sessions, including four overseas sessions and one domestic session, covering core markets such as Southeast Asia, South Asia, Europe and the United States, and Africa, helping both supply and demand sides achieve precise matching and deepen cooperation.
From "selling products" to "selling services + selling experiences," the 35th Guzhen Lighting Fair is promoting the coordinated development of the two industries in the lighting and luminaire sector, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the industry.
